Dalitz Family | Blue Mountains Family Photographer | Storytelling Session Film + Photos

I don’t know about you, but I find it really hard to get myself in the frame some times. Mostly because, at the end of the day, I’m always so busy that it just doesn’t feel like a priority. There’s also that little thing too that I’m so often photographing other people’s families, not leaving me much time for taking photos of my kids that actually have me in them too.

I’m working on getting better at that this year, and the results have been semi-successful. I’ll share more about that later, but today I wanted to share a fellow photographer Mum who also doesn’t get in the frame with her kids as much as she’d like.

Carlie and her family were just the most loved up humans, and because I wanted to make sure Carlie got right in that frame you better believe I did my best to make her the start of this shoot. The Dalitz family revolves around Carlie, she is it’s heart & soul, and I know that her husband and kids would be lost without her.

My hope is that in the years to come, Carlie can look back on these photos & film and not just remember what life was like at this moment in time, but that she can be reminded, when the kids are giving her grief, just how much she truly loves them and how much they love her too…
